الملخص
This research aims to define the concept of plague and plague in terms of linguistic and legal terms and the difference between them, and it is also presented to talk about plagues and epidemics that passed in the history of Islam starting with the Prophet’s era and passing through the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and after them, with mentioning some printed and manuscript works on plagues and epidemics, highlighting some of the reasons for their authorship And focusing on the need for researchers to pay attention to the manuscript heritage, especially on the side of calamities, fatwas, and answers. يروم هذا البحث تعريف مفهوم الوباء والطاعون من الناحية اللغوية والشرعية والفرق بينهما، كما تعرض للحديث عن الطواعين والأوبئة التي مرت في تاريخ الإسلام بدءا بالعهد النبوي ومرورا بعصر الخلفاء الراشدين ومن بعدهم، مع ذكر لبعض المصنفات المطبوعة والمخطوطة في الطواعين والأوبئة، مبرزا بعض أسباب التأليف فيها، ومركزا على ضرورة عناية الباحثين بالتراث المخطوط خصوصا المتعلق بجانب النوازل منها والفتاوى والأجوبة.
