الملخص
لعبت طبيعة المنطقة الحدودية الفاصلة بين العالم الإسلامي والبيزنطي دوراً مهما في طبيعة العلاقات بينهما، وفي استراتيجية كل طرف تجاه الآخر، وظلت تحظى باهتمام الكثيرين نظراً لأهميتها ودورها الفاعل في أحداث التاريخ الإسلامي، لكونها مسرحاً عسكرياً مهماً خلال الأربعة قرون الهجرية الأولى تتصارع فوقه قوى المسلمين والبيزنطيين، ولم تلبث على حال واحدة لكونها على التخوم، بل كانت في تقدم وتراجع ولم يحتفظ كلا الطرفان بجزء من الأرض احتفاظا مستداما، بل كانت السيطرة دائما للمنتصر، ونظرا لأن منطقة الثغور الإسلامية كانت مختلفة في تكوينها وخصائصها عن المناطق الواقعة خلفها غير المعرضة للخطر، فقد انعكس ذلك على نمط الحياة الاقتصادية، وهو ما نحن بصدد الإشارة له في موضوعنا هذا. Abstract: The nature of the interval between the Islamic world and Byzantine border region, played an important role in the form of relations between them, and each party’s strategy towards the other, and remained of interest to many people because of its important and role in the events of Islamic history being an importance military theatre during the first four centuries grappling above Muslims and Byzantines forces , soon on the case for being one of the frontier, but was in the advance and retreat, both parties did not retrain a portion of the land-preserved sustainable, but has always been the victor control. As the Islamic region was different in composition and characterises for the area behind it reflected on the special social and economic life style, which is what we are gopping to refer to him in our theme this.
