ملخص: تهتم هذه الدراسة بتسليط الضوء على كيفية بناء الدولة - الأمة في ظل العلاقة المعقدة بين الدولة والمجتمع، تبعا لهذا يستند تحليلنا على طبيعة العلاقة بين الدولة والمجتمع من زاوية نظرية تسعى إلى تفسير كيفية بناء الدولة- الأمة، عبر الفصل بين مفهومي بناء الدولة وبناء الأمة وتبعا لكيفية تفاعل الدولة مع المجتمع التي تخضع ديناميكية بناء الدولة - الأمة إلى ثنائية الدولة – المجتمع والتي تبلور المتلازمة التالية: صنع الدولة - بناء الأمة، التي تتطلب تبني مقاربة تحليلية تجمع الجانبين المؤسسي والمجتمعي على النحو الذي يلاءم تحليل طبيعة العلاقة بين الدولة والمجتمع وأثرها على مسار بناء الدولة الأمة.
