Résumé

The region of Hodna has been a field for several geographical and hydrological studies during the early stages of colonization, the example of savornin (j), which gives a good contribution on the hydrology of Hodna, and Ville, in his work entitled: Hydrology of hodna. Among the works published on the hodna, a special place must be reserved for the work of Despois, the "hodna" which, of exceptional value, was precious and by reference. Jean Despois undertakes with great experience confirmed to describe a portion of the margins of the Algerian Sahara, the plain of hodna.
