انتشار اللغة العربية في غرب افريقيا

الملخص
يعتبر إقليم السودان الغربي من أهم أقاليم الصحراء الكبرى ، وذلك لما يمتاز به وما يتوفر عليه من إمكانيات جعلته يختلف عن باقي الأقاليم الأخرى ، ويعد هذا الاقليم كذلك من بين أكبرها في افريقيا حيث يضم عدة ممالك وامبراطوريات ، هذا ما مكنه من ربط علاقات تجارية و اقتصادية مع دول الشمال، وقد أثمرت تلك العلاقات التي كانت في بداية القرن الثاني هجري ما يوافق الثامن ميلادي إلى انتشار الثقافة العربية على يد التجار في منطقة غرب إفريقيا ، فبدخول الاسلام واللغة العربية أحدث منعرجا حاسما في تاريخ هذه المنطقة ، فبعدما كان المجتمع الإفريقي يعيش حياة بدائية تحكمها الوثنية إذ كان فكره منحصرا في طقوس معينة، و أصبح الفرد الإفريقي يسعى جاهدا من أجل النهوض إلى حياة يسودها العلم و المعرفة، وهذا بفضل تأثير الإسلام على فكرهم، و قد أبدى الأفارقة رغبتهم الشديدة من أجل تحصيل العلم والتعمق فيه ، وأصبحت ممالك غرب إفريقيا آنذاك تعج بالعلماء و الفقهاء و الأئمة و كذلك بالمدارس التعليمة التي تعقد فيها حلقات الدروس ، وبذلك عرفت ممالك غرب إفريقيا ومدنها حركة علمية متطورة و بالتالي أمد هذا الإقليم للحضارة الإسلامية والعربية بعدا سودانيا ، لكن بظهور الاستعمار الاوروبي في المنطقة سعى الى تشتيت المسلمين الافارقة ، واحداث القطيعة بين المسلمين العرب والأفارقة.
