الملخص

Through this article we intend to shed the light on ways of prosody teaching in algerian high schools. We concentrated our work on the difficulty of some prosodic terms; with all the importance that the term entails in understanding the science and getting attached to it or escaping it. We gave some details in speaking about the term in general, and the prosodic terms specifically. We also spoke about the troubles occurring in teaching this specialty, trough the non- 114 compliance with the principle of comparison between texts as it is shown in the directions of the book related to the competency-based approach. We took as a reference of our work the book of the second year of secondary education (Arts and Philosophy and Foreign Languages) in order to have a clear overview of the reality of teaching this science.
