الملخص
يتناول هذا المقال الكلام على راوٍ من رُواة الحديث المشهورين، وهو عليُّ بنُ زيد بنِ جُدعان، وذلك بتحقيق القول في درجته عند النُّقَّاد وعلاقة تلك الدَّرجة بمروياته، فإنَّ ابنَ جُدعان مشهورٌ بالضَّعف عند المتخصصين في علوم الحديث، لكن قد وثَّق هذا الرَّاوي بعضُ المتأخِّرين والمعاصرين، وصحَّح بعضُهم كلَّ أحاديثه، وهذا الذي نتج عنه بعضُ الخلل في الحكم على أحاديثه، فجاء هذا المقال بمباحثة الثلاثة ليجلِّي هذه المسألة ويُوضِّحها، حيث حاولت في المبحث الأوَّل استقراء كلّ أقوال أئمَّة الجرح والتَّعديل في عليِّ بنِ زيد وخلاصة الكلام فيه، ثم عرضتُ في المبحث الثَّاني أقوال من وثَّقهُ من المتأخرين والمعاصرين وناقشتُ كلامهم، وخلصت في المبحث الثَّالث إلى حالة مع بيان علاقة تلك الحال بمروياته. ومن أهمِّ النتائج التي توصَّلتُ إليها أنَّ علي بن زيد بن جُدعان ضعيفٌ سيء الحفظ عند جمهور النُّقَّاد، لكن حديثه عن الحسن البصري محتمل لملازمته، وأنَّ من وثَّقه من المتأخرين والمعاصرين قد جانب الصَّواب، ومع ضعف ابن جدعان إلا أنَّ النُّقَّاد قد يحكمون على حديثه بالصحَّة إذا تبين لهم بالقرائن إصابته فيه. Summary This article investigates the authenticity of Ali ibn Zaid ibn Jadaan, one of the famous narrators of the Hadith, by examining how he was considered by critics and the connection of that evaluation to his narrations. As for the scholars of the science of hadith, ibn Jadaan was well known of his weakness in terms of narration, some of the recent and contemporary scholars, however, believe otherwise and they authenticated him. In fact, some of them assured the authenticity of all his narrations as “Sahih”. This resulted in some imbalance in judging his narrations. Therefore, this article, which comes in three sections, addresses and clarifies this issue. In the first section, I tried to extrapolate all what it was said by the Imams of the Impugnment and Validation’s Science on Ali ibn Zaid and its conclusion. In the second section, I presented what it was said by the recent and contemporary scholars and discussed it. I have concluded in the third section with observing his status and highlighted his status with his narrations. The most important findings are that Ali ibn Zayd ibn Jadaan was, indeed, poor in memorising, except for his narration to Alhasan Albasri, as it is believed that he likely had met him. With that said, some critics, though, continue to judge his narrations as “Sahih” once evidences proved so.
