ملخص رافقت الأغاني الشعبية دائمًا انتفاضات وثورات الشعوب التي تسعى إلى الاستقلال، والجزائر، مثلها مثل جميع البلدان في العالم، لم تشذ عن هذه القاعدة. بدا كل شيء عندما انطلقت حرب التحرير في عام 1954، والتحق الشعب، المتكون في غالبيته من الفلاحين الذين سلبت منهم أراضيهم، بالجبال. من هذه الحركة الشعبية الواسعة ظهرت بعض القيادات في غالبية جهات الوطن بقيت أسماؤها منقوشة في الذاكرة التاريخية للأمة، وخلدتها أغاني النساء. يجب الإشارة هنا أن هذه الأغاني كانت الطريقة المثلى للشعب المتكون في غالبيته من الأميين، لتناقل الأخبار عن المجاهدين ومآثرهم. تعتبر أغنية واد الشولي واحدة من الأغاني النسائية التي خلدت واحدا من اكبر الشهداء في الغرب الجزائري: الرايس بن علال. Abstract Popular songs have always accompanied the uprisings and revolutions of peoples seeking independence. Algeria, like all the other countries in the world, has not escaped this rule. It all started when F.L.N. Start the war of liberationin 1954 and the population made up in majority of fellahs dispossessed of their grounds join the maquis. Leaders in each region appear from the vast popular movement, whose names will remain engraved in the history of the nation andcelebrated by the songs of women. It isinteresting to say that these songs were the ideal way for the majority illiterate people, to circulate the news on the combatants and their exploits. The song of Oued Echouli represents one of thosesongs of women immortalizing a great martyr in the west Algerian, Rais Benallal.
