الملخص
The present article is concerned with an in-depth analysis of the knowledge aspects related to smart economic development in order to show that the heartbeat of economic intelligence is information and knowledge management to achieve the objectives of a specific strategy at the micro and macro levels, especially in the scientific and technological fields. In other words, the center of attention in "economic intelligence" is what can be expressed broadly asany strategic intelligence, economic intelligence and competitive intelligence, and this is because in the age of information (and knowledge) it is not important to collect information in itself, but to analyse and then use it. Based on the study of these aspects, we will discuss the reality of this work through the experience in Egypt, focusing on the analysis of the circumstances and the first experiments.
