الملخص
Abstract Even though many philosophers had discussed since the antiquity different values subjects, such us; goodness, right, justice, beauty, and honesty..., the scientific perception wouldn’t have been crystallized until the modern philosophy, in which, the research on values is among the most modern philosophy branches and the most developed and spread in modern philosophy .and that on comparison to the research on anthropology and epistemology, where the first decade of the twentieth century witnesses the first organized research on axiology written by the American W.M. Urban under the tittle ’valuation’ in 1909, in which the philosopher got interested on the values issue which he considered not a theoretical problem but, a modern message that has been the concern of his era. الملخص: بالرغم من أن الفلاسفة ناقشوا منذ القدم موضوعات قيمية مثل الخير والحق والفضيلة والعدالة والجمال والصدق...الخ، إلا أن التصور العلمي الدقيق لمبحث القيم لم يتبلور إلا في الفلسفة المعاصرة؛ حيث يعد البحث في "القيم" من أحدث فروع الفلسفة وأكثرها تطوراً وانتشاراً في الفلسفة المعاصرة، وذلك مقارنة بمبحثي الانطولوجيا والأبستمولوجيا؛ حيث شهد العقد الأول من القرن العشرين أول بحث اكسيولوجي منظم، كتبه الأمريكي أيربان Valuation ) تحت عنوان التقييم ) W.M. URBAN عام 1909 ، وشُغل هذا الفيلسوف بمشكلة القيم التي أعتبرها ليست مشكلة نظرية؛ بل هي رسالة حضارية تشغل عصره.
