سيرورة اللغة (خصائص التغير اللغوي في اللسانيات الحديثة)

الملخص
إنَّ البحث في سيرورة اللغة يُشكِّل اليوم مصدرًا من مصادر تخفيف التعقيد الفلسفي لمسألة كَيْنونة اللغة، فبالنظر في خصائص التغير اللغوي، يجد المرء أجوبة لأسئلة طالما شَكَّلت هاجسًا مُقْلقًا لدى فلاسفة اللغة وعلمائها. فالوقوف على سيرورة اللغة وخصائص تغيُّرها يمكن أن يُجيب عن قولنا: كيف للغة أن تَحُوز كَيْنونَتَها، وسَيرُها يتنافى مع وجودها الكلي؟ وكيف يمكن للغة أن تظلَّ هي نفسُها على نحو ما، وهي تتغير؟ وكيف يمكن أن يقال: إن لسانًا ما، ما يزال هو، إذا حصل تَغيُّر كامل لجوهره المادي الذي يجري كل بضعة قرون، وإنَّه باقٍ هو نفسه أيضًا لمدَّة أطول من الزمن؟ فمِن الممكن أن نجد لدى سوسير أجوبة عن هذا النوع من الأسئلة، فإثبات مصداقية خصائص التغير اللغوي، وما ارتبط بها من تفسيرات، أسهل من إثبات مصداقية التفسير الارتقائي لعالَمَيْ الحيوان والنبات، فالمقياس الزمني للتغير اللغوي أقصر بكثير من المقياس الزمني للنمو الارتقائي، وهذا ما أتاح لخصائص التغير اللغوي أن تحظى من سوسير بدراسة علمية مباشرة، بدلًا من الاقتصار على الفرضيات العامة والتأملات الفلسفية. وأمَّا الاستغلال الفلسفي الدقيق لفكر سوسير، فإن سوسير بريء منه، فسوسير لم يكن (سوسيريًا)، وإنما ظل إلى النهاية كما كان دائمًا، باحثًا مُتحمِّسًا لقضايا اللغة ومسائلها، يَحثُّ الخُطى في سبيل وضع أبعاد جديدة للمنهجية اللسانية، دون سعي منه لتقديم خطة فلسفية عامة، مثالية أو غير مثالية. وما العودة اليوم إلى سوسير إلا محاولة لإعادة ترسيخ النزعة العلمية في دراسة اللغة من جديد، بعد أنْ بدأت دراسات (ما بعد البنيوية) تَتَخفَّف منها. كلمات مفتاحية: كينونة، سيرورة، تغير، تطور، نظام، خصائص Abstract: Research on the characteristics of linguistic change from Saussure’s point of view is, today, a source of mitigating the philosophical complexity of the question of language. By tracing the characteristics of linguistic change, one finds answers to questions that have long been a concern for language philosophers and scientists. Knowing the process of the language and the characteristics of its change can answer our argument: How can language remain the same as long as it changes? How can it be said that a language is still, if there is a complete change of its substance, which takes place every few centuries, and that it also remains the same for a longer period of time? It is possible to find answers to these kinds of questions in Saussure’s works. So, proving the credibility of the characteristics of linguistic change and the associated explanations is easier than proving the credibility of the evolutionary interpretation of the animal and plant worlds. The temporal scale of linguistic change is much shorter than the scale of evolutionary growth, which has allowed the characteristics of change. Thus, Saussure directed scientific study rather than posing general hypotheses and philosophical reflections. As for the precise philosophical exploitation of Saussure's thought, he was innocent of him. He is actually an enthusiastic researcher of language issues and phenomena, urging steps to develop new dimensions of the language lesson without being deterred by it. Today, going back to Saussure is only an attempt to re-establish the scientific tendency in the study of language again after the (post-structural) studies began to alleviate them.
