الملخص
Some doxographic texts contain a number of points about the threefold division of stoic philosophy which are extremely puzzling, such as Diogenes' texts and Plutarch's writings. These ancient sources of stoic’s philosophy can be more understandable by reference to a few of the technical terms and elementary concepts of Stoic philosophy –such as division and logic-, and some declarations of a few specialists in stoic philosophy -such as Pierre Hadot and Jean-Baptiste Gourinat- So, the purpose of the present article is to prove the originality of the tripartite division of stoic philosophy and its results on the philosophical discourse of Stoicism.
