Abstract: This paper addresses,from the criticism of criticism standpoint, a model of Arab reception of the occidental literary criticism via the Arab Moroccan critic Abdelfattah Kilito, particularly the features characterising such recption, such as, the accuracy of the academic scientific method, the comprehensiveness of the criticsim project of theorisation and application to the Arabic literary text, the variety of texts(modern , contemporary and heritage ones), the awareness of the methodological steps of every criticism method that critic Kilito took advantage of , and then the critic’sbenefit from many occidental criticismmethods in criticising the heritage and contemporary literay texts, poetry and narration alike, to the point that these criticism attempts became a comprehensive project featuring depth, conscience, and comprehnsiveness in the reception of the occidental criticism theory and its application to the Arabic literay text.
