الملخص
The purpose of the research study is to explore the effectiveness of assertiveness behavior counseling training program on self -esteem of abused children. 20 students identified as abused children in some school of shaqra Governorate (4 schools) were invited to participate. The sample was randomly divided into two groups; experimental (n= 10) and control (n= 10). For data collection, Assertive Behavior, and Self- Esteem Scales were employed. For data analysis, Mann-Whitney-Wilcoxon Tests were employed. Findings from this study indicated the effectiveness of the program employed in improving assertive behavior self -esteem of abused children in the experimental group.
