العلمانية كحل لمشاكل الأقليات الدينية

الملخص
تتعرض الأقليات بأنواعها المختلفة لانتهاكات خطيرة لحقوقها الفردية والجماعية في مجموعة من دول العالم، لكن الحديث بالتحديد عن الأقليات الدينية يمليه العدد الهائل للنزاعات المسلحة والاضطرابات السياسية التي تعد هذه الفئة طرفا فيها وضحية لها في نفس الوقت، بفعل تعرضها لمختلف أشكال الاضطهاد الممارس ضدها من قبل النظام السياسي للدولة بتواطؤ مع جماعات متطرفة تنتمي للأغلبية الدينية. أمام هذه الوضعية تعد العلمانية في نظر الكثيرين خيارا جديا لحل مشاكل الأقليات الدينية خاصة في الدول التي تعرف تنوعا دينيا كبيرا. فبالرغم من الانتقادات الموجهة للخيار العلماني، فان العلمانية بنزعها القداسة عن أشياء الطبيعة وعن الدين نفسه تعد ضرورة ملحة لحماية الأقليات الدينية، ووسيلة فعالة لفرض الاجماع الفكري وتحقيق المساواة بين مختلف الجماعات الدينية المكونة للدولة، ناهيك عن كونها آلية مهمة لمنع الأنظمة الشمولية من استغلال الدين كغطاء لانتهاك الحقوق المدنية والسياسية للأقليات. All kinds of minorities are subject to serious violations of their individual and collective rights in several countries around the world, but the talk about religious minorities is dictated by the large number of armed conflicts and political unrest to which this category is both a party and a victim, due to its exposure to various forms of oppression by the regime political in collusion with extremist groups belonging to the religious majority. Faced of this situation, secularism is considered by many to be a serious option for solving the problems of religious minorities, particularly in countries where religious diversity is great. Despite criticism of the secular option, Secularism, by taking off holiness from the things of nature and religion itself, is an urgent necessity for the protection of religious minorities, and an effective means of enforcing intellectual consensus and achieving equality among the various religious groups constituting the state, not to mention that it is an important mechanism to prevent totalitarian regimes from using religion as cover to violate the civil and political rights of minorities.
