الملخص
This research paper aims to examine the relationship between ownership (public-private) and financial performance in commercial banks. Regarding to its role in improvement or lowering banks performance. this paper dealt with the theoretical framework of the differences in performance between state-owned banks and private banks on one hand, and the role of governance as owner sometimes and regulator other times in leading banking sector.
