الملخص
جاءت هذه الدراسة لتبرز ظاهرة التكامل الدولي في شقه الاقتصادي، والتي لم تحض بانتباه خبراء العلاقات الدولية إلا بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية، إذ أصبحت أولوية المصالح الاقتصادية المشتركة المبنية على الاعتبارات الأمنية والسياسية، موضع اهتمام لعملية التكامل الاقتصادي بأشكالها المختلفة، فهدفت دراستنا إلى تحديد عوامل نجاح عملية التكامل الاقتصادي بالاتحاد الأوروبي ومعوقاته بالاتحاد الإفريقي، وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن وجود النزاعات الأمنية والسياسية بين دول الاتحاد الإفريقي يعد من ابرز المعوقات والعوامل المعرقلة لجهود التكامل الاقتصادي والتنمية بدول القارة الإفريقية، بينما تعد وحدة القرار السياسي في ظل وجود مؤسسات قوية، قادرة على تأمين الاتفاقيات وضمان تنفيذها، من أهم عوامل نجاح التكامل الاقتصادي بالاتحاد الأوروبي. This study came to show the phenomenon of international integration in its economic division, which did not attract the attention of international relations experts until after the Second World War. The priority of the common economic interests based on security and political considerations became the subject of attention to the process of economic integration in its different forms. The process of economic integration of the European Union and its obstacles to the African Union, the study concluded that the existence of security and political conflicts between the African Union countries is one of the most important obstacles and factors hindering the efforts of economic integration and development for the African continent, while the unit is the political decision in the presence of strong institutions, able to secure agreements and ensure their implementation, the success of the most important economic integration of the European Union factors
