Description

- The Algerian Review of Ottoman and Mediterranean Studies is a biannual journal published by the Laboratory of Studies and Research of Ottoman Heritage in Algeria, at the University of Algiers 2, in the Algerian Republic. Founded in 2021, its aim is to be a support for the history of the Ottoman world and the regions that formed part of it, including Al-Jazâ'ir, particularly during the modern period.

- The Algerian Review of Ottoman and Mediterranean Studies contains unpublished historical scientific studies in the field of Ottoman and Mediterranean history, and aims to produce high-quality scientific communication by specialist researchers, as part of the promotion of an exchange of approaches and scientific perspectives.

- The review gives priority to studies on the history of political and cultural relations, economic exchanges in the Mediterranean basin, the history of migration and the phenomenon of travel, both within the Ottoman world and between it and the outside world, in bilateral, regional and/or global contexts.

- The Algerian Review of Ottoman and Mediterranean Studies seeks to focus on historical studies, leaving the field of research open to interaction between history and the other human and social sciences.
